The answers for various health ailments do not always lie with medicines. There are numerous home remedies for different health issues that you can easily try at home, without the fear of any side effects taking place. Most medicines can leave certain side effects on your body, be it temporary or permanent. Having said that, the following home remedies can work wonders for you without any hassle at all.

1. Suffering from nausea? Try some ginger

Boil some crushed fresh gingers in water with two to three cloves of nutmeg (also known as Jaiphal) for at least five minutes. Now, filter the mixture and pour it in ice trays. You can use the chilled mixture in any sweet drink of your choice, or you can make popsicles by soaking the ginger in roohafza. The ice cubes provide your stomach with a serene, soothing effect, and you would feel better in a few hours. Ginger consists of anti-nausea and anti-oxidant properties that can work wonders for your ill stomach.

2. Have a sore throat? Try some garlic cloves

Crush five to six garlic cloves and boil them in water with two to three cloves of nutmeg for 10 to 15 minutes. Gargle with lukewarm mixture twice a day to cure a sore throat. Garlic is a known remedy for respiratory tract diseases. The healing properties of garlic can lighten the inflammation and heal the soreness within a day or two.

3. Nagging cough? Eat some dark chocolate

Research shows that the ingredients of dark chocolate work better than our regular cough medicine in curing a persistent cough. Eat a mini bar of dark chocolate and you will be amazed by its effect on a nagging cough. The best part about this remedy is that it doesn’t cause any drowsiness or constipation like the usual cough medicines do.

4. Burnt skin? Apply some Aloe vera

.Well, it is quite a mundane scenario that ladies get burnt during cooking or baking food. Apply some fresh aloe vera gel to the burnt skin. It is a known remedy for various skin ailments and in this case, it would decrease the burning sensation and help heal the skin.

5. Trouble with gastric issues? Try some mint water

If you are having trouble with digestion, you can try some mint water at home as a cure. Just boil a few leaves of peppermint and add a few drops of lemon juice in it.
